Beacon Hill Nursery School was founded in 1955 and is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs Based in Boston it is a nonprofit school and the tuition fee goes directly to the operating budget to support salaries facilities curriculum development program expenses and tuition assistance Each classroom has a book and science area computer a water and sand table dramatic play area art supplies large and small blocks and a variety of manipulative materials and games Beacon Hill Nursery School s library features more than 3500 books tapes and videos for children and the books are also used for daily story times The school has customdesigned onsite playgrounds and a gymnasium that is also used for staging plays and special events
